Lead generation terms, explained without the fog.
Use these definitions to distinguish data coverage from uniqueness, availability from verification, discovery from enrichment, and a database match from genuine buying intent.
AI lead search
Using natural language to create structured lead filters. In Feediqo, AI builds editable criteria and does not generate profiles or contact values.
B2B lead
A person or company that may fit a business offer based on explicit targeting criteria. A database match is not proof of buying intent.
Contact reveal
The action that unlocks available private contact details for a selected record. One Feediqo contact credit covers one record.
CSV export
A downloadable table of reviewed records for analysis or use in another authorized workflow. Feediqo export batch limits depend on the plan.
Data coverage
The source records and fields available to search. Coverage totals can include overlap and should not be read as globally unique people.
Data enrichment
Adding useful attributes to an existing person or company record. Enrichment should preserve source meaning and distinguish known values from missing values.
Data freshness
How recently a field was observed or updated. A record can be structurally valid while a role, website or contact route has changed.
Deduplication
Detecting records that represent the same identity and serving one result. Feediqo uses professional identity, composite person fields, canonical domains and normalized recipient emails.
Ecommerce intelligence
Store, platform, category, technology and commercial context used to research ecommerce businesses.
Email availability
A signal that a record contains an email route that can be reviewed or revealed. It is not the same as a current deliverability verification.
Email sequence
An initial outreach message plus scheduled follow-ups sent as one controlled campaign.
Email verification
A separate process that evaluates whether an address or mailbox appears deliverable. Availability alone does not prove verification.
Firmographic data
Company attributes such as industry, location, size or business type used to segment a B2B market.
Follow-up
A later message in the same outreach sequence. Feediqo supports up to three scheduled follow-ups per reviewed campaign.
Ideal customer profile (ICP)
A practical description of the companies or people most likely to benefit from an offer, expressed through relevant and reviewable criteria.
Lead database
A searchable collection of person, company or store records used for market research and prospecting.
Lead qualification
Reviewing whether a record fits the offer, market and contact requirements before revealing, exporting or contacting it.
Natural-language filters
Structured search criteria derived from an ordinary-language audience description.
Sales engagement
The operational workflow used to contact and follow up with prospects. It is distinct from discovering and qualifying the underlying audience.
Sales prospecting
The process of defining a market, finding possible buyers, checking fit and deciding on a responsible next step.
Shopify lead
A Shopify merchant that fits defined market, category, technology or contact criteria and still requires human review.
Suppression list
A record of recipients who must not receive a campaign, such as unsubscribed, bounced or manually blocked contacts.
Technographic data
Recorded information about software, platforms or integrations associated with a company or store.
WooCommerce lead
A WooCommerce store that fits selected market, category, technology or contact criteria.
